Adam is aged 26 and currently working for a local businessman as an online sales assistant and general dogsbody. He previously served with the Royal Engineers for five years as a regular soldier and was deployed in Afghanistan in 2006 with 51 Para Sqn. He is currently serving with the TA unit the Royal Mercia and Lancastrian Yeomanry. On completing the challenge he hopes to return to the regular army.
